Year of Flight
There are over 150 events for the Year of Flight!
Music, cinema, theater. And then the traditional Vinci festivals on their usual dates, including the Unicorn Festival in July, the local village fairs, and events dedicated to the flavors and typical products of the Vinci area.
The great classics of Vinci’s events will be repeated, starting immediately with the carnivals in Sovigliana and Vitolini already in February; April will be dedicated to Leonardo, with the 64th Vincian Reading, the Day dedicated to the Genius, and a meeting in his honor with a delegation from Amboise; then the Eco Vinci Festival in May, the Snail Festival in June, Sant’Amato a Tavola in July, Calici di Stelle and VinciSound at the end of August, the festivals dedicated to oil and chestnuts in autumn, the return of Christmas in Vinci and the Quarconia Theater.
In addition, many events will have flight as their common theme, such as the Flight Festival scheduled for May 18. The program also includes various book presentations, music reviews, and theatrical performances.
