The Leo Lev Center is a multipurpose exhibition space that promotes knowledge and passion for art, thanks to new forms of interaction between the public and the works, a new approach to research, and above all, through the sharing of experiences in a truly special setting, unlike conventional exhibition spaces.

CURRENT EXHIBITIONS

The Universes of Leonardo da Vinci
This exhibition represents the first event aimed at drawing public attention to the importance of Leonardo’s Academy, where new painting techniques were tested and applied. Painting techniques remain to this day Leonardo’s most significant legacy.

Virtual Reality Experience
Using virtual reality headsets, visitors can immerse themselves in the paintings of Leonardo’s Academy, displayed inside the museum.

Genius – Touching is a Must
This section is dedicated to Leonardo’s work as a scientist, with a special focus on his studies of mechanics, optics, and war machines. The exhibition is called “Touching is a Must” because it invites visitor interaction: guests can activate Leonardo’s machines, entering the genius’s mind.
This new section gives visitors the chance to approach science in a fun, hands-on way, by practically developing Leonardo’s thought process. For example, visitors can try reconstructing the bridge, draw with the perspectograph, take a photo with the camera obscura, and much more.

One of the rooms at the Leo Lev Exhibition Center has been set up for educational purposes, allowing visitors to discover Leonardo da Vinci and his projects for diverting the Arno River, his maps of Tuscany, and his excavation and hydraulic machines.

The replica of the Announcing Angel sculpture from San Gennaro is a life-sized copy of the Archangel Gabriel, attributed to Leonardo da Vinci by Carlo Pedretti. The sculpture was made using traditional clay modeling and firing methods, and painted with the same pigmentation as the original.

Inaugurated in 2015, the Tennis & Padel Vinci Sports Center features 2 tennis courts and 3 padel courts, as well as a bar with an outdoor area equipped with sofas and umbrellas — perfect for relaxing after a game. Every year, the center hosts various tournaments such as the FIT Tournaments, Bobo Road to Qatar, Torneo Giallo, and the Winter Championship.

Golf Bellosguardo enjoys a unique location on the hills overlooking Vinci and offers its guests a charming course, both technically and scenically.

The golf course features an exceptional 9-hole layout with double tee boxes.
5,815 meters of fairways surrounded by olive groves and vineyards provide fun and excitement—even for the most experienced players!

The Montalbano Domani Association regularly organizes excursions to explore the countryside surrounding Vinci — a landscape that was undoubtedly the first great source of inspiration for the young Leonardo.

Many trails still preserve traces of ancient structures, such as the Barco Reale Mediceo, a walled enclosure approximately 50 km long, built by the Medici family between the 16th and 17th centuries; or the Pescaia del Mulino della Doccia, a 15th-century structure that regulated the water flow into the canal feeding the Doccia Mill; as well as the remains of ancient mills powered by the many streams running through the Montalbano hills.

Other routes, like the trail leading to the centuries-old Holm Oak of Faltognano, offer breathtaking views stretching from the Pisan Mountains to the Apuan Alps, and on the clearest days, all the way to Livorno and the Island of Gorgona.

Leonardo da Vinci Bike Tour offers bike and e-bike rentals, as well as guided tours for enduro mountain biking, road cycling, and trekking. Thanks to the shuttle service, it is easy to reach the trails to explore.

Bellavista Equestrian Center

The Bellavista Riding Center, affiliated with F.I.S.E., is located in Cerreto Guidi, 5 km from Vinci. It offers horseback rides, riding lessons, American and English riding styles, horse boarding, and training. The facility includes 30 stalls, an indoor washing area with hot water, 2 outdoor arenas (30×60 m and 35×40 m), 1 indoor arena (20×40 m), and 1 round pen (16 m diameter).

Canoa Club Turisti per svago

An association that practices and promotes canoeing sports, including recreational canoeing and canoe polo. Throughout the year, various events are held, such as the Crazy Cartoon Race, a race featuring homemade cardboard boats.

Padule di Fucecchio

It is the largest inland marsh in Italy, covering about 2,000 hectares. The most ecologically interesting area lies mainly within the municipalities of Larciano, Ponte Buggianese, and Fucecchio. It is renowned for its unique flora and vegetation and the remarkable fauna that inhabits it. The marsh plays a crucial role in migratory routes between the Tyrrhenian coast and the interior; over 200 bird species can be observed throughout the year. The wetland area offers exceptional opportunities for birdwatching and nature photography enthusiasts, especially during the spring migration.
